Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Will Reed stepped things up a notch to give Mt. Carmel the 'W'. Reed went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double, which was good enough to set a new career-high in hits.

Coming up, Reed and Mt. Carmel will look to defend their home field on Friday against Mt. Vernon at 5:00 p.m. The Golden Aces have some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since May of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
