This season hasn't been kind to the University Charter Trail Blazers, who are still winless after their sixth contest. They fell 55-43 to Hatch on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for University Charter in their matchups with Hatch: they've now lost five in a row.
Several Trail Blazers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zy'Darrius Harris, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Andayvean Bell, who scored 12 points.
University Charter bumped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Hatch, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
University Charter will head out on the road to face off against Gordo at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hatch, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Southside at 8:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Southside is ranked 244th, while Hatch is ranked 251st).
