In what's become a running theme this season, JSerra Catholic gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 78-42 victory over Verbum Dei Jesuit. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win JSerra Catholic has posted since December 8, 2023.
Mater Dei's victory bumped their record up to 22-1. As for JSerra Catholic, they pushed their record up to 19-4 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Mater Dei was able to grind out a solid victory over JSerra Catholic in their previous matchup on January 5th, winning 78-67. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mater Dei since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
