The Exeter Monarchs will be playing at home against the Highland Scots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Exeter's favor as the squad sits on ten straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Highland has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
Last Friday, Exeter and Reedley were almost perfectly matched up, but Exeter suffered an agonizing 22-21 loss.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jacob Molina, who threw for 165 yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Niqo Calderon, who gained 64 total yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Highland slipped by Ridgeview 29-28 on Friday. The victory was just what Highland needed coming off of a 46-12 defeat in their prior game.
Reedley's victory bumped their season record to 3-7 while Exeter's loss dropped theirs to 9-1.
