Aubrey Gahman was dynamite on Thursday, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her fourth in a row with more than five strikeouts. For the year, she has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 1.98 over 17.7 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.583/0.615/0.833 with 6 runs.

Gahman and Dock Mennonite will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bristol at 3:45 p.m. on the 24th. The Pioneers haven't beaten the Warriors recently, having gone 0-10 since April of 2018.
