They breezed by Slaughter Community Charter at home to the tune of 47-13. The result was nothing new for Kentwood, who have now won three games by 33 points or more so far this season.

Kentwood's win was their fifth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 7-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.2 points per game. As for Slaughter Community Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Kentwood will be playing at home against Southern Lab at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Southern Lab's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last five matchups. As for Slaughter Community Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against Thrive Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Thrive Academy is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
