Last Friday, Eldorado earned a 47-36 win over the Eagles. The victory was just what Eldorado needed coming off of a 71-44 defeat in their prior contest.
Eldorado's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Robert "RJ" Waddell, who scored 20 points along with two steals. Waddell has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Eric Lechuga, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Moapa Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were beaten by Mater Academy East Las Vegas 81-43.
Eldorado's victory bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Moapa Valley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-15-1.
