Faith Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 70-42 win over Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit at home. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Micah Kaynor was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Herald, who scored 11 points.
Faith Christian's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-9. As for Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-15.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Christian will take on Lapeer Lakers Homeschool at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lapeer Lakers Homeschool will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Faith Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
