Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Washington). They took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging an 83-31 victory over the Tell City Marksmen. The win was nothing new for the Hatchets as they're now sitting on five straight.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Tell City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington will finish 2024 at home by hosting Benton Central at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Benton Central has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 192 points over their last three contests. As for Tell City, they will be taking part in a tournament against Crawford County at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Tell City is facing Crawford County at the right time seeing as Crawford County is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
