Racine Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They were a single  set away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dominican Knights. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.
 In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Racine Lutheran sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 27-29, 25-12, 19-25,  15-10.
Their offense was headlined by  Jocelyn Miller and  Mariyah Castro, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from  Evie Gamroth and her 12 assists. Finally,  Molly Duchac kept Racine Lutheran's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
Racine Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Dominican, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 19-4 record  this season.
 Racine Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  2-1  win against Brown Deer on the 4th. As for Dominican, they have also already played their next matchup,  a  3-0  victory against St. Joseph on the 2nd.
