Lassiter was the 50-47 winner over Woodstock when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Even though they lost, Lassiter smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in three consecutive games.
Woodstock got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lily Conkell out in front who scored 12 points and five assists. Bree Rogers also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Lassiter and Woodstock could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Lassiter will square off against Pope at 6:00 p.m. on Friday down 139 places (171 vs. 32). Similarly, Woodstock (ranked 140th) will meet Creekview (ranked 20th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
