Twin Lakes has gone a perfect 7-0 against Winamac recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Indians will look to defend their home field against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. Twin Lakes is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.
Twin Lakes' hitters will try to repeat the strong performance they gave on Monday, when they got past Tri-County's usually-dominant pitching crew. The Indians put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 13-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won seven in a row.
Mason Brummett made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Twin Lakes is 7-1 when Brummett posts two or more runs, but 5-7 otherwise.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aidan Holle, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tate Goyer, who went 2-for-3 with three runs.
Twin Lakes was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .560. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Winamac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Delphi Community.
Winamac saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Wenzler, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.
Twin Lakes' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Winamac, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Twin Lakes has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Winamac struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Twin Lakes came out on top in a nail-biter against Winamac in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
