On Thursday, Hardee are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against DeSoto County at Desoto High School at 6:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Hardee couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. It was close but no cigar for Hardee as they fell 6-8 to Lemon Bay last Thursday.
DeSoto County had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge last week, breezing past Lake Placid 37-0.
DeSoto County's win lifted them to 1-0 while Hardee's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if DeSoto County can add another positive mark to their record or if Hardee can shake off the loss and take the spring out of DeSoto County's step.
