The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wilson, who took down 80th ranked Wilson, 42-21. Allen Crum ran for 161 yards and caught three passes for 25 yards in the win.
Crum of St. James ran for the longest rushing play in AAA Region VII this season against the Tigers last week.
Georgetown's Caleb Hughes and Alvin Walker have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Hughes has thrown for 877 yards this season, while Walker, a 6-foot-4 receiver, has 35 catches for 397 yards. Austin Adams from St. James leads the league in rushing with 582 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Socastee takes on the Bulldogs. At the moment, the Braves are in first, while Georgetown is in third.
Socastee extended the longest winning streak in AAA Region VII this week by beating Myrtle Beach, 27-17. The win marks seventh in a row for the Tim Renfrow's team.
