Given Baldwin County's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while Robertsdale is ranked 276th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, McGill-Toolen entered their tilt with Robertsdale with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. McGill-Toolen simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Robertsdale 78-42 at home. McGill-Toolen has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 23 points or more this season.
Baldwin County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for McGill-Toolen, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5.
