The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Colton in their matchups with St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse: they've now lost nine in a row.
St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landen Miller, who scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Miller scored 15 or more points. Alex Rocha was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Colton's loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-17. As for St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colton on the road again on Friday and play against Prescott at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. As for St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse, they will challenge Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Valley Christian is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
