The Cleveland Rams will take on the Seaforth Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cleveland is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Seaforth will be up against a hot Cleveland team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Cleveland's pitchers stepped up to hand Southeast Raleigh a 21-0 shutout on Tuesday. That 21 run margin sets a new team best for the Rams this season.

Zac Miller and Aubrey Stanley were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Miller tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. At bat, Miller scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Stanley went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Stanley has posted since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, Cleveland got a massive performance out of Caleb Lynn, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most hits Lynn has posted since back in April of 2024. Will Hicks was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Cleveland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .628. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Seaforth fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Chapel Hill on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 4-3.

Seaforth now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Cleveland, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
