The Vanden Vikings will head out on the road to  square off against  the Pleasant Valley Vikings  at 6:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a seven-game winning streak alive.

Those six  passing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for  Mcleod.  Chris Clark was in the mix  as well, providing Vanden with two touchdowns.
 Vanden didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Caleb Jones,  Jamarion Grace,  and  Eamon Lacy picked up one apiece.
 Meanwhile, Pleasant Valley and Red Bluff met for a duel  on Saturday where Pleasant Valley prevailed. Pleasant Valley simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Red Bluff 48-21. Considering the Vikings have won five matchups by more than 20  points this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Pleasant Valley was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 358  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2023.
 Pleasant Valley is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record  this season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 30.6 points per game. As for Vanden, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.
