Soccer Recap: Somerset Academy South Homestead Takes a Loss

After flying high against Archbishop Carroll last Wednesday, Somerset Academy South Homestead came back down to earth. The Somerset Academy South Homestead Hurricanes came up short against the True North Classical Academy Titans on Thursday, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Hurricanes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 212th, while the Titans are ranked 85th).

Somerset Academy South Homestead's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-4. As for True North Classical Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Somerset Academy South Homestead has already played their next contest, an 8-1 win against Marathon on the 22nd. As for True North Classical Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart at 4:00 p.m. on January 28th.
