While Lena might've come up empty on Friday, Tyler Shallow wasn't going down without a fight. Shallow was dynamite, striking out six batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
