The University Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 21 points or more this season. They took their game at home on Saturday with ease, bagging a 71-43 victory over Lynn Classical. The victory made it back-to-back wins for University.
Leading University to victory were Ethan Adams and Mo Kamara. Adams scored 12 points along with nine steals and eight assists, while Kamara scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. That makes it three consecutive games in which Kamara has scored at least 25% of University's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Nazario, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
University's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Lynn Classical, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-2.
University and Lake Nona will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Lynn Classical, they will head out on the road to face off against Everett at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
