On Friday, the Lake Worth Christian Defenders didn't have too much trouble with the Tradition Prep Pirates as they won 70-55. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Defenders.

Lake Worth Christian had a senior duo take command as Landen Harwood almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine boards and Chase Troncale went 7 of 17 on his way to 22 points along with six rebounds and three steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Harwood has scored at least a third of Lake Worth Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Gallo, who posted 13 points.

Lake Worth Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tradition Prep only racked up nine assists.

Despite the defeat, Tradition Prep had strong showings from Ethan Chevres, who earned 19 points in addition to six assists and three steals, and Avery Johnson, who had 25 points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Boule, who put up six points.

Lake Worth Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Tradition Prep, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Worth Christian will face off against Boynton Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Worth Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67.1 points per game this season. As for Tradition Prep, they will square off against Port St. Lucie at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
