Cristo Rey St. Martin found their leader in underclassman Lebron Massey, who dropped a triple-double on 27 points, 12 rebounds, and ten steals. Massey hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for seven straight games. Jayllen Godoy was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Lake County Baptist's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christopher Reindl, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Miles Davis, who scored six points.
Cristo Rey St. Martin is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-8 record this season.
