Corona del Sol can attribute much of their success to Connor Ackerley, who threw for 242 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Elijah Mckay got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Corona del Sol's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Desert Vista, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.
