After flying high against Vista Grande  on Monday, Catalina Foothills came back down to earth. The Falcons took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Canyon del Oro Dorados on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dorados this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-1  on October 14th.
 Catalina Foothills started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 24-26, 26-24, 25-16,  25-20.
 Among those leading the charge was   Jaycee Cook, who  had 14  digs and four  aces. That's the most  aces  she has posted since back in October of 2024.
Catalina Foothills now  has a losing record of 12-13. As for Canyon del Oro, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-14 record  this season.
As of now, neither Catalina Foothills nor Canyon del Oro have any future games scheduled.
