Neumann Regional Academy is 10-0 against Bucktail since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. Having just played yesterday, the Neumann Regional Academy Golden Knights will get right back to it and host the Bucktail Bucks at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
On Tuesday, Neumann Regional Academy was the victim of a rough 71-48 defeat at the hands of Montoursville. While losing is never fun, Neumann Regional Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 458th, while Montoursville is ranked 168th).
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jozef Savage, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Walter, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Bucktail had to suffer through a rough 78-38 loss at the hands of Muncy.
Neumann Regional Academy's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Bucktail, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Neumann Regional Academy beat Bucktail 67-58 in their previous matchup back in January. Does Neumann Regional Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bucktail turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
