Adding to the longest winning streak in D1 District 10 (8 Man) this week, Hemingford beat Morrill 75-14. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Bobcats.
Maxwell and Stapleton/McPherson County played the most contested game in the league this week, with Maxwell eventually emerging with a 48-46 victory.
Ethan Skinner made the biggest impact on defense this week as Hemingford beat the Lions. He grabbed 1 interception.
Tyler Fear threw for 124 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was 12-20 with 1 interception.
Collin Fleecs was the best wideout in the league this week as Sutherland topped Paxton. Fleecs racked up 6 receptions for 92 yards. Fear helped Sutherland's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 23 yards.
The Sailors' Fear and Fleecs led D1 District 10 (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Fear has thrown for 825 yards this season, while Fleecs has 22 catches for 402 yards. Skinner from Jordan Haas' team leads the league in rushing with 1,122 yards.
Fear of the Sutherland is just 18 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 126 carries Fear has accumulated 982 yard this year.
As it stands, the Bobcats are in first, while the Wildcats are in third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Hemingford takes on Maxwell. The Bobcats have allowed 66 points this season, while Ryan Jones' team has given up 253. Hemingford allowed 14 points last week as it topped Tom Peacock's team.
