South Allegheny had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with an 8-5 win over the Steel Valley Ironmen. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-0 on Monday.

The victory got South Allegheny back to even at 7-7. As for Steel Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Allegheny will take on McKeesport at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Steel Valley, they will challenge Obama Academy of International Studies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
