The South Sevier Rams fell victim to the Delta Rabbits''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were outmatched by the Rabbits on the road and fell 42-0. South Sevier has struggled against Delta recently, as their game on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Delta's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB five times. Leading the way was Campbell Warnick and his two sacks.
South Sevier's defeat was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-9. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 7.8 points per game. As for Delta, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
South Sevier does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Delta will square off against South Summit at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. South Summit is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
