The Lincoln Trojans can now show off 14 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Tracy with a sharp 79-58 victory. Given Lincoln's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 54th, while Tracy is ranked 700th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lincoln to victory, but perhaps none more so than Donez Lindsey, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lindsey has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Quentin Thompson, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds.
Lincoln has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. As for Tracy, they dropped their record down to 6-20 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
Lincoln didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 77-71 victory vs. St. Mary's on the 9th. Tracy has also already played their next game, a 54-52 victory against West on the 9th.
