Lutheran Northwest barely beat Whitmore Lake the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Crusaders were the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over the Trojans on Tuesday. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by seven runs or more this season.

Lutheran Northwest's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.7 runs over those games. As for Whitmore Lake, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Lutheran Northwest will challenge Avondale at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Whitmore Lake will be paying especially close attention to the Crusaders' matchup: after the Crusaders face off against the Yellowjackets, they'll take on Whitmore Lake again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
