Clifton won the last time they faced Kennedy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 9-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

The team relied heavily on Andrew Gibney, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. He also put up two RBI, which were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Tony Morales, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Clifton picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Kennedy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
