The Cedar Park Timberwolves had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They strolled past Angleton with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 21-3. The win was nothing new for Cedar Park as they're now sitting on six straight.
Leading Cedar Park to victory were Ayden Arp and Trae Hill. Arp threw for 128 yards and a touchdown, while Hill gained 196 total yards and two touchdowns. Garrett Nichols got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Cedar Park pushed their record up to 9-3 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.6 points per game. As for Angleton, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
Cedar Park will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against A&M Consolidated at 5:00 p.m. on November 24th. A&M Consolidated has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 329 points over their last seven games. Angleton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
