Even though the Southside Cardinals scored an imposing 64 points on Tuesday, the Harlandale Indians still came out on top. Harlandale took down Southside 78-64. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Harlandale.
Harlandale got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jonathan Regalado out in front who scored 20 points along with five assists. Regalado hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Roger Dominguez was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds.
Harlandale is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-12 record this season. As for Southside, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harlandale will challenge South San Antonio at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Southside will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Southwest Legacy at 6:30 p.m. on January 26th. Southwest Legacy and Southside are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
