The Kennedy Cavaliers lost against the Whitman Vikings back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Kennedy was dealt a 79-52 defeat at the hands of Whitman. Kennedy has not had much luck with Whitman recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Thomas Farrell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Whitman, going 7 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and 2 assists. The contest was Farrell's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Hayden Walsh was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Kennedy bumped their record down to 2-2 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home dating back to last season. As for Whitman, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennedy will be home for the holidays to greet Blair at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Whitman will be home for the holidays to greet Poolesville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
