The Altamonte Christian Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 24 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Ocala Christian 86-42 at home. The victory was familiar territory for Altamonte Christian who now have three in a row.
Vincent Lee was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Ryan Almeda was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five assists and three steals.
Altamonte Christian's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.7 points per game. As for Ocala Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Altamonte Christian will take on Bishop Moore at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ocala Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Countryside Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th.
