The Lockwood Tigers had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 45-44 win over Dadeville. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lockwood also won the last time the pair played two weeks ago.
Despite the loss, Dadeville still got an impressive performance from Aidan Jarman, who scored 13 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Jarman is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games he's played. Chayse Coose was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Lockwood's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Dadeville, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4.
Lockwood won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Purdy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Dadeville, they will head out on the road to take on the Pirates at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
