Duncanville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Makenzie White, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points White has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Laila Coleman, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
Mansfield Legacy's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 10-19. As for Duncanville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.
Mansfield Legacy will head out on the road to face off against Mansfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mansfield has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 27. As for Duncanville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Ridge will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 80th, while Duncanville is ranked first).
