Monticello came out on top against Dove Creek on Friday thanks in part to Kooper Nielson's efforts. Nielson scored two runs while going 2-for-3, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Coming up, Nielson and Monticello will head out on the road to challenge Duchesne at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
