Dallas County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joshua Davis III led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. The game was Davis III 's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Cameron King, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Southside has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Dallas County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-6.
Southside will be home for the holidays to greet Lanier at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Lanier's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. Dallas County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Keith at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th. Keith and Dallas County are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
