Velma Jackson scaled the state rankings by moving to 145 from 184 this week, the biggest jump in 3A Region 6. The Falcons climbed the ranks as a result of besting Canton 8-7.
Collins was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in the league. Earlier in the week, the Tigers triumphed over Heidelberg 42-0.
Velma Jackson's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Devin Perry threw for 37 yards and Johnny Levy had 20 yards receiving. On the ground Emanuel Ross chipped in 92 yards.

Collins took down the Oilers 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
