North Lenoir extended their losing streak  to seven  on Friday, dropping them down to 1-8. They took a  blow against the West Craven Eagles, falling  41-7. The Hawks were not able to make up for their  loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting  back in November of 2021.
As for West Craven, the  win was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1. Those  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 39.8 points over those games.
 West Craven got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  DJ Davis out in front who threw for 127 yards and three  touchdowns on only 11 passes, and also rushed for 83 yards and one  TD.  Terrell Dixon was another key rusher, gaining 63 total yards and two touchdowns.
