The Mountain Range Mustangs struggled with assists on Friday (the Legend Titans had 1300% more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Mountain Range was outmatched by Legend on the road and fell 71-36. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mountain Range in their matchups with Legend: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Mountain Range still got an impressive performance from Quincy Helsel, who scored 7 points.
Legend's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kale Sparks, who scored 19 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gavin Whitehead, who scored 12 points along with 5 steals.
Mountain Range's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Legend, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Mountain Range will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wheat Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on December 13th. As for Legend, they will head out on the road to face off against Doherty at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
