The Timberline Spartans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 75-38 loss at the hands of Kendrick. Timberline has not had much luck with Kendrick recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
It was another big night for Nathan Tweit, who scored 26 points along with six steals and five assists for Kendrick. That makes it four consecutive games in which Tweit has scored at least a third of Kendrick's points. Another player making a difference was Ty Koepp, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Timberline has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season. As for Kendrick, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-4.
Timberline will head out on the road to take on Highland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Highland focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Thursday. As for Kendrick, they will be playing at home against Deary at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Deary is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
