It was another big night for Sarah Strong, who dropped a triple-double on 26 points, 26 rebounds, and ten assists. She has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last 13 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella "Isa" Roman, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine assists.
Despite the defeat, Northwood had strong showings from Alyia Roberts, who scored five points along with eight rebounds, and Natalia Whitaker, who scored nine points. It was the first time this season that Roberts pulled down eight or more rebounds. Mikaylah Glover was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five rebounds.
Grace Christian pushed their record up to 26-0 with that victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38.2 points. As for Northwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-5.
Grace Christian will stay at home for another game and welcome Legacy Early College at 5:30 p.m. on February 9th.
