The Warren Central Warriors came tearing into Saturday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 52-41 win over Indian Hill.
Warren Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Denell Jacobs, who scored 20 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds. Jacobs hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Denyha Jacobs, who scored 18 points along with 7 steals and 5 rebounds.
Warren Central's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Indian Hill, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Warren Central will be playing at home against Lawrence North at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lawrence North knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Warren Central likes a good challenge. As for Indian Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Madeira at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
