Santa Fe's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aidan Jewell, who scored 18 points. Jewell has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kenny Torres, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds.
South Oak Cliff's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Santa Fe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
