The Hansberry Bengals will take on the Butler Lynx at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hansberry comes in on three and Butler on four.
Even though Rowe-Clark scored an imposing 66 points on Tuesday, Hansberry still came out on top. Hansberry took their game against Rowe-Clark 78-66. Given Hansberry's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while Rowe-Clark is ranked 606th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Butler got the win against Rauner on Tuesday by a conclusive 63-39.
Hansberry has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for Butler, their win bumped their record up to 13-14.
Hansberry didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Butler in their previous meeting two weeks ago, but they still walked away with a 58-54 win. Does Hansberry have another victory up their sleeve, or will Butler turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
