Eisenhower had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Elk City Elks with a sharp 8-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Eisenhower, who have now won five contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Eisenhower pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those four matches. As for Elk City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Eisenhower and Elk City will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Eisenhower is set to take on their familiar foe Norman at 8:00 p.m. on April 4. Meanwhile, Elk City will face off against rival Newcastle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
