Destinee Herrera put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in March on Wednesday. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Dos Pueblos on Monday, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Herrera has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.
